This year the Melbourne University Footbag Club will be hosting the inaugural
Melbourne Footbag Jam. Our aim is to make it inclusive of everyone, from
hardcore shredders to casual hackysackers. To do this we are coming up with a
circle kicking comp (actual kicking, not shred) and we are also changing the
routine length. The event will still cater for the shredders as well with
routines, sick 3 and sick 1 plus heaps of random shred. The event is open to
everyone, not just club members, so get everyone you know who likes to hack to
come along. Details of the event are bellow and may change as everything is
finalised. The venue will be North Court at Melbourne University. I hope everyone can make
it.

Melbourne Footbag Jam 2008 - Friday 3rd to Sunday the 5th of October

Friday 3rd - Warm-up Day

12-3pm: Shred, circle kicking and 4 square in North Court
3-5pm: Screening of the movie "Mystic Ball" upstairs in Union House
5pm+: Drinks and Pool at Unibar.

Saturday 4th - Comp Day (North Court)

11-12pm: Set up and Warm up
12-1:30pm: Routines, Sick 3, Sick 1
1:30-2pm: Break
2-3:30pm: Circle Kicking comp and 4 square comp
3:30-3:40pm: Awards Ceremony
3:40-5:30pm: Shred, Kicking and 4 square
5:30pm: BBQ

After the BBQ we will pack up and head up to unibar for drinks.

Sunday 5th - Fun Day (Park)

12pm: Meet at North Court and head over to the nearby parks (Weather Permitting)
12:30pm:  Net, Shred and kicking.
