Events Offered:
Freestyle Footbag Jam and Marathon Minutes. With
Enough interest, I will have a 45 second shred contest
with 3 levels: Novice, Intermediate, and Open.
This will be just a couple of days of great jamming in the great Okanagan. Come down and meet some cool people, and enjoy yourself. Kelowna City park is an amazing venue, as it is onlooking Okanagan Lake, with some of the best weather in BC. Hopefully the weather will cooperate, or the jam will move to Bankhead School.

Once you come into Kelowna, directions from the Welcome to Kelowna
Sign to the Host Hotel are as follows:

Turn right on Abbott St. It is the first road on the right after you come
over the floating bridge. Follow about until it turns into Lakeshore Rd.
Keep on Lakeshore, it will take you into the mission area. Pass the Dairy
Queen on your left, then Gyro Beach is coming up on the right in the next
minute, you cant miss it! Gyro Beach Resort is on the left hand side!

Kelowna City Park is right on the left after coming across the floating
bridge, so from the host hotel, just head back towards the floating bridge
the same way you got there. We will meet at Gyro first anyway just in
case people are lost, and I will hand out maps of Kelowna. If you arent
coming from around these areas, please e-mail me, and I will put them up!

HOTEL INFO:

The Guest hotel will be Gyro Beach Resort, right across from Gyro
Beach. The rate for a room is $66.25 per night. Rooms can have a
maximum of 4 people. Please book ASAP. The number to call is 1-250-
762-3227. I have booked 5 rooms for this event, but I guarantee it will be
easy to find accomodations. For those that are really tight on cash,
please e-mail me and I will let you crash at my place. You might have to
bring just a tent and sleeping bag and crash in the back yard. I can only
house a couple people, so first come first serve. Drop me an e-mail.

SCHEDULE:

For now the schedule goes as follows:

Friday: Those who come in on Friday and want to jam, call me when you
get in at 764-8475.
Saturday: 12:30pm to 5:30pm at Kelowna City Park. We will be having
fun Marathon Minutes timed seshions at 2:30pm, then 45 sec shred.
Scores from both days are averaged. Depending on the weather, we will
meet there no matter what, and I will give directions on how to get to the
other venue.
Sunday: 12:30pm to 5:30pm at Kelowna City Park. Same as above
dependng on the weather. Top average shred score wins hopefully a
nice trophy!! Im working on it!

I am working on prizes anyway for top freestylers! Im also working on a
way so that everyone gets something! If anyone has any ideas or could
help with prizes please contact me! If anyone can set up a booth that
would be AWESOME.
