Driving DIRECTIONS from U.S.A. to REGISTRATION & Kits Beach: The I-5 takes you across the border and becomes the 99. The 99 (not the 99A) crosses the Oak St. bridge and turns into Granville St. if you follow the "99" signs (if you don't follow the 99 signs, you will be on Oak St. - which is fine as well). Keep going (about 60 blocks) until the intersection with Broadway. Take a left onto Broadway, and continue for approx. 14 blocks, then take a right onto Yew St. Follow Yew St. all the way down to the bottom and you are at Kitsilano Beach. Unless you see a good spot to park, the simplest is to use the Kits Beach parking: take a right onto Cornwall from Yew, then take the first left, and then left into the parking lot (do buy a parking ticket as they check often). At this point you will see the nets set up at the Park within view. Or if it's after seven p.m., walk one block up Yew, and ten feet right on York and there is the Sunset Grill where registration takes place. ...
