English for the summer -- he is from the Gravity Footbag Club in Darmstadt,
Germany!

1997 is the year of homecomings in the world of footbag. This tournament marks the return of footbag to Sonoma county and the birth-place of the footbag movement in Northern California and the hotbed known as BAFL. The United Flyers of Sonoma (UFOS) are flying again and welcome you to the beautiful wine country of Sonoma County. Fun and sun, footbag and you. What could spell a better time? Come and celebrate another footbag homecoming.

Please note: this event was moved from Santa Cruz, California, to Santa Rosa, which is approximately 60 miles north of San Francisco.

FREESTYLE: For those of you wondering, this tournament WILL include freestyle! There will be TWO ROUNDS of Open Singles, Women's Singles, and Intermediate Singles freestyle at this event (see schedule below). We will be using the IFAB Ranked-Component Judging System (see http://ifab.footbag.org) and open/women's routines will be 2 minutes, with intermediate routines 1 minute 30 seconds.
