Hello Footbag World!!
The US Open has a long, vaunted history, but has never been hosted
anywhere near Boston, and we, the Boston Shred Crew, could not possibly be
more ready to not only host it, but to truly create and once-in-a-
footbagger's-life experience. This is neither hyperbole or clever
marketing, just simple fact. *We plan to be IFPA Sanctioned*
Expect
-world class freestyle and net (behind the scenes talks are ongoing)
-dope venues for competitions and party
-several meals worth of food to be provided with Entry Fee ($30)
-players pack of stuff that will raise the bar on players packs
-tons of prize bags by the worlds foremost stitchers, dont need to compete
to win
-top of the line professional marketing and design on t shirts, trophies,
etc
-convenience, ease, relaxation, organization with bad ass attitude
-so. much. MORE. stay tuned on facebook as details come out weekly!
Event Details:
You can help by REGISTERING AHEAD by messaging myself on facebook, or
emailing me at PABSmith2@gmail.com
Important info to include is T-shirt sizes, Events you'd like to compete
in, and where I can help find you lodging. Also email routine music to
the same email address. Message me for paypal info to pay $30 Entry Fee
ahead if you so choose.
The planning committee and I are dedicated to helping get everyone here
that possibly can. There are cheap flights to Boston from every major
airport in the US, we can check prices on websites daily to help get you
the best possible deal, and help find hotels, which are plentiful. There
is also a good amount of free crash space.
I'm taking work off Thursday, Friday and Monday of the weekend of the
tournament, and many footbaggers will be coming early or staying late,
feel free to do the same! This can make flights cheaper and give more
time to see one of America's most history-rich, beautiful cities!
Plan ahead for Saturday morning, we will be done breakfast and be
carpooling to the event site around 10:45. Rides can be provided.
Everything is within 15 minutes of the airport!
