Manually Entered Results

The 33rd Annual East Coast Footbag Championships were held on Sept. 12th &
13th
in Brooklyn, NY. We had a healthy showing of net and freestyle competitors
from New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Michigan, Oregon,
Las
Vegas, and Montreal. We were excited to once again have a few past net
world
champions in attendance- Emmanuel Bouchard, Genvieve Bousquet, & Marilyn
Demuy-
and the current world champ in Open Shred 30 and Sick Trick, Evan Gatesman!
IFPA legend Steve Goldberg also surprised us with a visit to check out the
action.

In net, Luc prevailed over Genvieve to win this year?s singles title. Luc
then
paired up with Manu to take the doubles title over the team of Genvieve and
Marilyn.

In a rarity for the East Coast Footbag Championships, we were able hold a
mixed
doubles net competition that resulted in a highly competitive and crowd
pleasing match, with a win by Genvieve and Manu and over Marilyn and Luc.

In freestyle, Evan brought his world champion caliber of play with him and
won
both the routines and circle contest, though his win in routines was
strongly
challenged by Matthieu Gauthier?s dropless routine.

Thanks to all our sponsors and most of all thank you to all of the players
for
attending!

This announcement and results will be posted on the events page on
footbag.org.
