(Benny K. competed in Open Freestyle for the first time ever and performed and 
placed very well for his first showing in the Open category, despite playing 
out in the open on hot sunny day, and with some disappointing technical 
difficulties with my stereo. Facing the same obstacles, David Clavens 
performed his first ever DROPLESS two minute routine, an awesome spectacle 
that has already been shown on local public-access television here [I'll get a 
copy of the recording tomorrow; plus they are going to show it again and much 
more of the competition too!], and I'm very pleased that it all happened here 
at my event   )

and finally... we were supposed to have a "Most Rippin' Run" event, but I 
didn't really know how to deal with the odd number of competitors, wanted to 
avoid a round-robin format, and we were short on time too, so I excercized the 
awesome power of "tournament-director's-discretion" and instead of the 
traditional Most Rippin' Run, we had more of a "Last Man Standing", or, if you 
prefer the pro-wrestling terminology, a "BATTLE-ROYAL!" So...
