Hello every one. Québec's net tournament is still on, and it should a fun one. I noticed there is an announcment for a NET event in Montréal on the same weeekend. Please ignore it, Montréal's tournament is the following weekend (20ieth and 21st). Don't forget there is also a two day training camp (17th-18th) held by Yves Archambault and Patrick Aswad. ---- Details for Québec's tournament ---- First, basic considerations: - There is prize money and a minimum of 500 $Cdn in total prize money is garanteed. First three in the open category are rewarded. - Inscription fee is 30$ for open players an 20$ for other categories. - A massage service will be on site; 15 $cdn fo 20 minutes. Massages available until 15h00 both on saturday and sunday. - A lunch service (you check the menu, you make a choice, you give us what it costs and we get it for you). However, one can eat just nuts and fruits (wich are free). Second, the player's pack includes : - Free water, fruits and nuts during the two days. - A t-shirt, of course. - Solar cream (is this the wright way to write it?) Third, there is a one day training camp on friday the 12th given by Yves Archambault from Montréal. Cost is 40 $Cdn. Fourth, the schedule: Friday, July 12th: 10h00 => Interested players arrive at the site for the mini training camp. 16h00 => End of training camp. 19h00 => Registration at a place to be confirmed. 23h00 => End of registation. Saturday, July 13th: 9h30 => Late registration and warm up 10h00 => Player's meeting 10h15 => Singles matches, most probably in pool formats. Play through the quarter finals by 15h00. 12h30 to 13h00 => Lunch service. 15h00 => Doubles matches. 17h30 => End of day one. 19h30 => Dinner at the Brigantin (pizza and pasta restaurant in old Québec) 21h00 => Party at my place or outdoor shows (music) Sunday, July 14th: 9h30 => Warm up 10h00 => Play preliminary doubles matches if any. (If there is a mixed doubles bracket, play it now). 12h00 => Singles semi-finals matches. 12h30 to 13h00 => Lunch service. 14h00 => Doubles semi-finals. 15h00 => Singles finals. 16h00 => Doubles finals. 17h30 => End of day two. 18h30 => Dinner (somewhere)and awards. Finally, if you have any of the following needs, please let me know (email or phone: - need a place to stay (we have lots of space, free), - driving indications (I will send you indications and a map) - hotel info (I can help to do the reservation in french or give you some phone numbers, there is no official hotel) - any other needs I hope to see lots of new faces for this third edition.
