It's no Google, but at least now you can type a name like "john stalberger" or a phrase like "new zealand" -- and get substantially better results than in the past.
And if you type someone's member alias we'll put that person's listing on top of the search results, instead of burying it way down. You can still choose to search just a specific.
We've also added member search to the home page for signed-in users. We hope this will help us deliver yet more value to the footbag community by helping you all find each other!
The 30th annual IFPA World Footbag Championships are coming to a close in Berlin, Germany.
Over 270 players have spent this past week competing in almost every footbag sport (footbag net, footbag freestyle, 2-square footbag, and even footbag golf) to determine the top players in the world of footbag.
Many events have concluded, but the main events will conclude TONIGHT in the main event at the Arena in Berlin. More importantly, you can watch the festivities and the final competitions live thanks to our friends at ustream.tv.
To view the festivities, please tune in by going to http://www.footbag.org/worlds2009 during the live show times. The show is scheduled to begin at 6pm (18:00 CEST) on Saturday, July 25. That's 9am PDT, 12 noon EDT, 5pm BST, 7pm EEST, and 8pm MSD.
(For our friends on the other side of the international dateline, be sure to tune in on Sunday, July 26th, at 12am (midnight) Aus. WST, 1am JST, 2am Aus. EST, and 4am NZST.)
Results and a full recap will be available after the event concludes, but please try not to miss the live show to see it for yourself!
