Front Back
0 adds
Here is front back, pretty much a sun back on the front side of your body. You must put your back to the net first. Then scissor with your non-spiking leg and finish with the toe extended over your front side shoulder. You must hit this one hard to get it in, which works out nicely! It is pretty much a half roll spike. Taller players use this shot more effectively.

TOE > OP IN [DEX] > SAME INSIDE [DEL]

An inside-out mirage, bailing to the same-side inside delay. In other words, a pick-up caught on an inside delay. ("Guay" supposedly means "strange" in Chinese.)

Mouse Trap
0 adds
This is a version of a standing pull down, where you drive the bag at your opponent's backcourt or body. Timing, proper steps, and flexibility are the key to this kill. Performed P.T. Lovern.

Paradox Reverse Whirl

CLIP > SAME OUT [PDX] [DEX] > OP CLIP [XBD] [DEL]

This move is a paraodx whirl with the direction of the dexterity reversed. As in a pdx whirl, the dexterity is performed with the knee with the ankle circling the bag. This is unlike a butterfly where the hips are used to make the upper leg do the dexterity.

CLIP (plant) > (no plant while) SAME OUT [PDX] [BOD] [DEX] > OP CLIP [XBD] [DEL]

This move is a paraodx symposium whirl with the direction of the dexterity reversed. As in a PS whirl, the dexterity is performed with the knee with the ankle circling the bag. This is unlike a butterfly where the hips are used to make the upper leg do the dexterity.

Roll Spike
0 adds
Kids don't try this one at home. Scissor non-spiking leg to toe with spiking leg flying. Pretty much a advanced bicycle kick. Performed by Eric Wulff.

Video demonstration available!

Roll Sweep
0 adds
This is a variation of the roll spike. You must contact the bag with the inside of your foot (sweep).

Whip Sweep
(Scissor Sweep)
0 adds
This move is a variation of the front back. You still scissor with your non-spiking foot and finish with a sweep (inside). This move is great when the set is not perfect for the front back. Also you can do it on the run or with your back to the net.

Video demonstration available!

Side Axe or Shataf
0 adds
Here is a nice crush when the bag goes to your opponents side! This move should follow after you master a side push. You slap the bag down as you extend your leg over the net. This is the move to learn if you want to break the plane of the net! Side Axe performed by P.T. Lovern

Shtataff
shtah-tahf'
(Reverse Side-Sole)
0 adds
A crossing side-sole spike where your back is facing the net. Some net players who can't pronounce the French onomatopoeia call this move "shitah".

Pull-Down
(Standing Extended Sole)
0 adds
Also known as "bring down". This move is more than just a sole spike -- the player slams the footbag down over the net by lifting his leg as high as possible (fully extending) and then pulling his toes/sole down, slapping the bag from the top as it is on its way down.

Video demonstration available!

Sole Push
0 adds
A forward spike by contacting the footbag with the center of the sole of your shoe, and pushing it directly forward with as much force as possible.

Toe
(Toe Spike)
0 adds
This is a toe spike. You must get your toe on top of the bag as you swing downward. Rotation of your hips is crucial when executing this move. This shot is performed by Will Guyette AKA Tobra Commander or is he GI Toe. I can't remember.

Video demonstration available!

Whip Sweep or Scissor Sweep
0 adds
This move is a variation of front back. If the set is not perfect then you should switch to this move it will give you more range. It is very powerful and deceptive. You pump with your non spiking leg then finish with a sweep on your spiking leg. This move is best off the net. Will Guyette is perfoming this Whip Sweep.

Clipper-Set Flux

CLIP > OP OUT [DEX] > (BACK) SPIN [BOD] > OP CLIP [XBD] [DEL]

Basically, this is a torque with the direction of the first dexterity reversed. Eg. Set rom a left foot clipper delay. Circle the bag from out to in with the right leg. Then, turn toward the bag to end in a left foot osis.

Reverse Magellan
0 adds

TOE > SAME OUT (plant) [DEX] > SAME IN [DEX] > SAME TOE [DEL]

Basically, this is an out to in around the world followed by an in to out around the world. Eg. From a right toe delay, set and immediately circle the bag from out to in with your right foot. Plant this leg on the ground and then bring it back up to circle the footbag from in to out ending on a right toe delay.

  [dex] [dex] [del]

Double Pixie Clipper
0 adds

TOE > SAME IN [DEX] > SAME IN [DEX] > SAME CLIP [XBD] [DEL]

A double in to out around the world bail to SAME Clipper. Eg. Right toe set- right leg circles the footbag from in to out twice- then catches the footbag in a right foot clipper delay.
