If we don't feel like going downtown to play we'll most likely be at this park. It's convenient for almost everybody to get to on short notice. Photo by Alex "Zeke" Ibardaloza.

The park added this gazebo several years ago. It's a perfect place to shred day or night. Photo by Alex "Zeke" Ibardaloza.

One of the great things about playing here, as opposed to playing downtown, is that it's never too crowded and you have so much more space to move around in. We can toss around a frisbee (even play Ultimate) play net/takraw and power hack without worring about hitting anyone or losing something into the lake. Photo by Alex "Zeke" Ibardaloza.

By Train
The park is 2 blocks south of the Western stop on the Brown/Ravenswood line. Once you exit the station on Western ave, make a left to walk straight south. One of the first things you'll see is a 7/11 on Western and Eastwood. Next intersecting street will be Wilson ave (stoplight). Then it will be one long block to Sunnyside ave and the park will be on your left. Photo by Alex "Zeke" Ibardaloza.

Where to find us
A: The gazebo. Mainly for small groups of hack and shred circles.
B: Near the tennis courts. When we have a large session or if we are playing 4-square. . Photo by Alex "Zeke" Ibardaloza.
