Worlds 2011 are over and out
The 32nd IFPA World Footbag Championships in Helsinki, Finland ended with the spectacular finals on Friday and Saturday. The whole week was a blast, and we’ll miss the great atmosphere maybe until Worlds 2012! Organizing this tournament was a huge effort for the Finnish footbag community, and we really appreciate the help we got from so many of you. On behalf of the Finnish Footbag Association and the Worlds organizing team I would like to thank everybody involved: volunteers, staff, IFPA, partners, sponsors, families, friends, audience and of course all the players. It sure wouldn’t have happened without you! And of course we are really happy that we have two World Champions in Finland, congrats Tuomas and Tanja, and all other winners and medalists!
All results can be seen on the Results page. The atmosphere of the tournament is hard to replicate, but maybe these photos will give you a clue.
