Registration is now open!

The online registration for the footbag event of the year is now open!

If you plan to travel to Worlds this year, you must register and pay online before July 17. There will be no on-site or late registration, so please register and pay before July 17. Whether you are a competitor, a sideline player, a volunteer or a member of the staff, please register and pay as soon as possible here:

If you’re a non-competitor, you’re still asked to pay in advance to simplify check-in, and help confirm headcounts, but you may register online and pay when you check in to get your players’ pack.

For your convenience, you can pay the registration fee by PayPal or if you are in SEPA area also by bank transfer. Both options are offered at checkout once you visit the link above and register.

Please make sure your registration is paid when the registration closes on July 17th.

Remember that PayPal transfers the money instantly; bank transfer does not. Note that if you choose to pay by bank transfer, it might take up to 5 business days for the money to be actually transferred. You have to complete your payment before the deadline of July 17th. However, you don’t have to pay right away. Go ahead now and register here, even if you aren’t ready to pay. Registration takes just a couple of minutes, so there is no reason not to do it now (even if you don’t pay yet).

If you don’t have a credit card or can’t use bank transfer, you may ask a friend to pay on your behalf. For PayPal, simply ask your friend to go to your registration form, sign in to your footbag.org account, and then submit the form and choose PayPal, and then sign in to their PayPal account to complete the payment. With bank transfer, you simply give your friend the information on the final screen after choosing bank transfer option. (Be sure your friend gets the correct “memo” code that is shown on the final screen. E-mail us with questions if you aren’t sure.)

Even if you pay right away, you can change your registration any time you like, before the deadline of July 17. This includes finding/changing partners up until the very last day of online registration. If you have already paid and you make a change that affects your total fee calculation, then we will either refund or collect the difference when you check-in for the tournament in Helsinki.

If you don’t have a partner, that’s okay — go ahead and register and pay without a partner for each event you need a partner for. Then, when registration closes, we will send email to each registrant giving a list of available partners who have registered, so you can pair up. It will be up to you to confirm your partnership with your partner, and to update your registration form. (It will be possible to add/remove partners for 24-48 hours after the deadline. But you may not make any other changes at that point.)

Reminder: there will be no late registration and no late payments for competitors. If you want to compete, you must arrange to have your payment correctly sent either via PayPal or bank transfer using the clear instructions and including your specific reference code that is included in those instructions, *before* the deadline of July 17.
